So, I spent most of the day in the art studio, which was fine by me!
Working on a mini album
I don't know why I always look so serious when I'm doing art. Honestly, I AM HAVING FUN!!!!!
You never know what you might see in the art studio. LOL!
Anyone who has cruised before knows that you can expect to see some "towel art" in your cabin every night. Here are some of my cabin steward Dave's masterpieces:
a swan
cool elephant
if anyone knows what this is, please tell me. whatever, I thought he needed a glass of wine.
bad photo, great bat!
Tomorrow Cabo San Lucas in the morning, and Wendy's short class at night. Til then.....
Eileen, I'd like to know what that animal is too. Couldn't figure it out.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the cruise through different eyes. You're doing a great job of documenting all the fun.
ReplyDeleteI had totally different towel animals so I can help with the mystery animal.
Patti
I, too, thought that little towel guy(bird?) was having an identity crisis and needed a drink.
ReplyDeleteMy roomie and I spent the day at the beach and hardly had a moment of peace due to the vendors! I could put up with it just to be at the beach!!
I sure am enjoying your documentary.
Eileen, Another fabulous tale of your adventure with Tim & Wendy.. Thank you so much for sharing these with us. I almost feel like I was there..
ReplyDeleteWishing you abundant blessings,
Tami
Looks a little like an ardvark! But with arms. LOL! Great pictures, I love the bat too!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is an anteater. You made the right move in going back to the studio, although that old ship did look intriguing.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen :) I've looked and looked and looked and STILL can't figure out what that animal is . . .but yes, he DID need a drink *hee hee*
ReplyDeleteAnd YES, the shopkeepers WERE pretty aggressive weren't they? Now that we're back, I was thinking that I passed on a few things I wanted because I was getting confused with which store I had talked to who IN! sheeeessh
Like someone else that commented, I am enjoying reading your view of the journey *smiles*
I too am enjoying seeing what you saw on our cruise...You're doing a great job. I wish I had the time to start a blog!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking he looked like an anteatter.
I think that towel creature is an Anteater! Pose it down on all "fours" without the glass of wine between it's legs and you may see an Anteater, too... or drink the glass of wine and the rest of the bottle and it will look like an Anteater! Funny....
ReplyDeleteHmm... I just read Alison's comment and think I left out a bunch of "T's" ... ooops!
ReplyDeleteOOOhhh... you got a great photo of that ship! May I use it?
ReplyDeleteYou got different towel animals than we did ... love your aardvark (lol).
Hey Eileen, I don't blame you a bit for going back to the ship. I can't stand those pushy sales people either. Sounds like a perfect day.
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Puerto Vallarta merchants are VERY VERY aggressive!! That's when knowing spanish comes in really handy! You tell them a thing or two (or even three if they really piss you off) and they leave you alone! Looks like the art studio was the best place to be anyway!
ReplyDeleteIt's the Aflak (sp?) duck... look at those huge webbed feet? Close maybe, don't you think? Marita
ReplyDeleteEILEEN!!! Hey there it's me Sandra aka BABE form Clue 300. I hope you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like patrik star from Sponge Bob Square Pants LOL
ReplyDeletegreat towel work LOL!
ReplyDeleteEileen, I continue to enjoy your wonderful voyage! I'll catch up when I return from my mini ART retreat! This has just been the most fun - almost like I'm a part of your great cruise! Diann
ReplyDeleteWe had the cool towel character with the glass of wine too ... only ours was lounging on the bed, propped up on the pillows, wearing sunglasses, and had the TV remote within reach! He was my favorite!
ReplyDeleteEileen, I Love the picture of you "Concentrating". :-) I have seen pictures of myself working in classes..........I'm even More Consternated. LOL I Too am having a Wonderful time.......but we are Creating. :-) It takes Concentration. ;-)
