One was an easel card, which, believe it or not, after all my years of card making, I've never done. Turns out, it's not so hard and I love the look. I also made it so it doesn't necessarily have to be a Valentine. Could be a thank you card too.
Next, an altered cabinet card. I had this one of what I'm calling, for lack of a better description, a ballerina clown. I added the red accents and writing with a glaze pen and trimmed it with black velvet ribbon and some puffy hearts. It's weird enough to appeal to me and doesn't scream "be mine!"
Last project, a hanging thingie, which I mainly enjoyed because it involved beads. I did three, but they are a bear to photograph, so only one came out even remotely clear:
OK, now I can go back to my browns and blues and greens and grunge!

Wow...I'm super excited to see your hearts and Valentines! They are just lovely as can be...love the danglies and altered cabinet card bunches and you have made me want to complete my card too...it has intimidated me a bit! Thanks for sharing! Diann

You may not like hearts or pinks or even valentine's day, but you sure did a fab-u-lous job with these creations Eileen!

They may be a little different for you...but I think they are all FABULOUS especially the ATC...she's Sassy :)

LOL! Love reading your descriptions! The art is wonderful, love the card (they are pretty easy once you figure it out, aren't they?) And that ballerina is too funny. The hangie thingie is pretty darn cool, too!

Everything is just spectacular! Sometimes we sign up for a swap to challenge ourselves. And sometimes it really does challenge us all the way to the end. :)
Eileen, for not liking any of this stuff you should made some FABULOUS things!!! Your easel card is gorgeous (I haven't made one yet either)!!! The altered cabinet card is wonderful!!! And the hanging thingie :-)) was a nice memory of when PID had use do some Valentine art to make into a collage... did you know the best friends heart was one of the things I did?
