The tag Tim did for August features a lovely silhouette stamp that gives the whole tag a nostalgic vintage look. I don't have that stamp, and besides, I prefer to concentrate on the techniques and get creative with what I do have.
Yes, I'm still posting from my phone and don't have a clue how to insert links, but to see Tim's tag go to his site: http://timholtz.com.
I looked to see what I have in the way of silhouette stamps and was drawn to the reindeer. So, August heat and humidity notwithstanding, here is my Christmas version:
It helps with heat to see this! How I long got cooler weather. Gorgeous work! I love the Christmas theme. Your pine cones look so real!

ReplyDeletehello EIleen,
ReplyDeleteI shiver thinking of christmas already ! ....:)
We don't have real summer for the moment, so we could use some more sun for the moment...
But the muse takes us where we don't always know...
Your pinecones look indeed really real ! Did you emboss the paper or what paper did you use? One side of the pinecone seems to shine, just like real ones do.
I also like the different shades in your grunge background. Sanded or inked with several inkcolors?
Nice tag to see, just not fond of the theme right now in summer ...LOL
greetings from belgium
