Distress Crackle
By now I'm sure you know all the details of this wonderful ongoing challenge, but just in case....click on the link above to go to Linda's blog and read all about it.
As it turns out, I only have some Rock Candy (clear) distress crackle at the moment (methinks there's a shopping trip in my near future), so that is what I used. Here's my tag:
I used the technique on the background paper (from Tim's Vintage Shabby paper stack) and on the large tattered floral (from Tim's Lost and Found paper stack). The small flower and leaves on the top are grungepaper stamped with Wendy's stamps.
The bottom of the tag was cut with Tim's Ornate die, and the sentiment is a Stampin' Up stamp.

Great tag Eileen! and first one again, you must get up very early.
As always love your flowers, wish I had the patience to make them :)
Your tag is nice! I love all the different elements in one flower!
BEAUTIFUL, EIleen!! Love your tag!
Oh that is GORGEOUS!!!! I finally got my book in last week!!! I need to start reading it!!!
Both today's pieces are lovely! I really love the CCC challenge, going to do mine tonight!
Spectacular x2! Am still getting my art room back into order but I will be participating in both in a few days. Maybe some of your mojo will visit?????
Oh, I think this tag is absolutely wonderful. I love all the colors - it just really, really makes me feel good.

Hello Eileen,
nice tag and nice flowers. I especially like the backgroundcolor of your big flower.
Crackle paint is something I have, but often forget to use...

Eileen, your tag is beautiful!!!
For only having the rock candy, you sure did come up with something GREAT! I love your tag and I think there might be diecuts in my future.
Beautiful! The decorative edge on the tag was very unique.
Ooh, this is SO gorgeous, Eileen! I am loving the papers you used, and how the Rock Candy accentuates the colors so beautifully! Sweet sentiment and the die cut edge is beyond perfect for this design.
You've gone and done it again! Sensational!!!
It's awesome Eileen!
WOWZA! I love it! The flowers are gorgeous! That background is way coolio, too! Great tag!
What a great tag: the flowers, the colors (I like blue, too), and the texture are fabulous. I'd better get crackin' on my distress cracklin' for this week's challenge. Once again, you've set the bar rather high. This is such a wonderful way to bring the book to life. (Certainly better than trying to kidnap Tim.)
Well what is not to love! The papers, the gorgeous flower and the cut edge! Lovely!
Wow, so quick and so pretty! The flower is amazing. I have the Shabby Vintage stack, but clearly I need to get the other one as well! Nice work.
Wonderful tag. I love that sentiment and the die cut really sets off your cool flowers.
The flowers are neat with all of the colors and textures.
Gorgeous tag!
Lovely crackle effect and I love the colours on the flower.
