Actually some of my fondest moments were about the encounters I had with people who were not a part of our group, who knew nothing about ATCs, but who were fascinated and happy to receive mine. From the woman in the gift shop who sold me a lipstick, to my waiter, a bartender, a cop from L.A. and two brothers from San Francisco, my ATCs of the Statue of Liberty hoisting a martini and wearing a sombrero are now all over the world. Cool!
I don't know how they found the time, but even Tim, Wendy, and Mario made enough cards to swap with everyone. Here's Tim's: (Remember, you can click on each photo to get a closer look.)
And Wendy's:
Marios's cracked me up. Since he was in charge of all the packing and shipping of supplies, he did an ATC of the shipping label he used:
Here are some of my favorites:
Now, I really loved them all, but this one that I received from Sherry just tickled me so much I have to give it a place of honor:
My next post will get into our classes and the fabulous projects we did. Til then.....
