Sunday morning I was one of the first downstairs for breakfast. There I met Lori from Illinois, and we clicked. Before long we realized that we could leave for the ship earlier than we'd been told, so along with a few others we got our bags, checked out, and took the short van ride to the dock.
The Mariner of the Seas is huge!
The porter somehow got all our bags on one cart. Quite the balancing act.
That ship is going to Hawaii.
A harbor view.
Francesca and Jean Luc (hope I got that right!) came all the way from Italy!
Lori and I, getting ready to sail.
Sunday evening, after we embarked, we had a reception in the Lotus Lounge. We got our name tags, tote bags, picked up cruise t-shirts we'd ordered, and swapped like crazy. Tim and Wendy told us a tiny little bit about what we'd be doing....no, actually they gave away nothing, but that just made us all the more excited. My first class tomorrow is with Wendy.
We're all pretty psyched up and anxious to get inky. Stay tuned....
I'm so excited to follow your voyage...it's so fun to read about your wonderful time and the pictures are such a bonus! I can't wait to read the next episode! Diann

Hello Eileen,
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to read about the voyage. I think that it's great to have such a vacation, create a lot, follow the workshops with Tim and Wendy, but I also think the meeting with people you met online for a long while is as exciting !
greetings from Belgium
Inge
