One of the requirements was to create original cards, using only current SU! products in the theme of autumn.
The pumpkins were done with oval punches, and the edges inked to give dimension.
I created these flowers with the Pick A Petal stamp set.
I love the skull from Just Jawing.
The Medallion background stamp and very rich fall colors.
I used the polished stone background technique on this one.
The tree from Pendant Park is very versatile. With green leaves, it would be a great spring or summer card.
We also had to submit a jewelry item:
I used the Metal Edge Tags, stamped with a Circle Circus stamp to create these earrings.
Another requirement was a 3-D item:
I found a template for this box online.
On Sunday, Heidi and I co-taught our monthly jewelry class. We did pieces made from crushed bottle caps. Here is the pair of earrings I did as a sample:
The caps were flattened by running then through the Big Shot and colored with alcohol inks. The Crop-O-Dile easily made the holes to attach the ear wires and the bead dangles on the bottom. Some people used the 1" circle punch to cut designer paper circles that fit exactly in the center of the flattened out caps. That was another really nice look.
We also had to do a 2 page 12x12 scrapbook layout and one 6x6 scrapbook page. I'll post those when I get them back from Heidi.
